Mario Taba Jr is a CNPq Productivity Research Fellow and a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He has a PhD and an MSc in Periodontology from the University of São Paulo - Bauru School of Dentistry and a specialty in Applied Statistics from the State University of Maringá. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan and holds a fellowship from the International Team for Implantology. Dr Taba focuses his studies on identifying prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers, focusing on disease progression, periodontal medicine, and tissue regeneration.
