Dr. Florentina Laura Chiriac is a Senior Researcher and the Head of Water, Soil, Wastes Pollution Control Laboratory and holds a degree from the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology ECOIND, Bucharest, Romania. She graduated as a chemist from the University of Bucharest Faculty of Chemistry in 2012 and received her Ph.D. degree in 2019 from the University of Bucharest, Doctoral School of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Department. Her research interests regard the quantification of xenobiotic organic pollutants in various environmental matrices, method development and validation, (bio)degradation processes, transfer, and bioaccumulation indices.
