Guang-Yu Li is a Professor, Ph.D Supervisor, and the Chief Ophthalmologist at the Second Hospital of Jilin University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Oxford University, UK, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Minster, Germany. He is a Peer Reviewer for the Ministry of Science and Technology and NSFC. He is a member of the Lacrimal Diseases Group and the Chinese Medical Association and the recipient of the Top Innovative Talents Award from the Health Department of Jilin Province.
