Florin Zaharie finished his Ph.D. in 2012. He became a Lecturer in 2019 and then Associate Professor in 2022. He was the chief physician at Institutul Regional de Gastroenterologie si Hepatologie Prof. Dr. Octavian Fodor, Cluj-Napoca from 2012 to 2022. He focuses on laparoscopic colorectal pathology as well as hepato-biliary pathology. He currently works at the Regional Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology "Octavian Fodor".
