Dr. Danushka S. Tennakoon earned his Ph.D. at Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand in 2021. From June 2022 to May 2023, he worked as a  Postdoctoral Researcher in Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Currently, Dr. Tennakoon is working as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Bio-engineering and Technological Research Center for Edible and Medicinal Fungi, Jiangxi Agricultural University. His research focuses on the diversity and taxonomy of micro fungi, and I evaluate the species based on morphology and multi-gene phylogeny.
