Retired researcher from FEPAGRO Animal Health, Desidério Finamor Veterinary Research Institute (IPVDF). Dr. Paulo Michel Roehe remains an invited researcher at the Postgraduate Program in Veterinary Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul but is now retired. Dr. Paulo Michel Roehe is a Full Professor, Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Parasitology, Institute of Basic Sciences, UFRGS (ICBS/UUFRGS). Coordinator of a research group in virology with national and international branches. Adviser of masters and doctorates in the Program of Post-Graduation in Veterinary Sciences of the Veterinary Faculty of UFRGS. Former president of the Brazilian Society of Virology (biennium 2009-2010). Research group leader. Reviewer of national and international journals.
