Manolo Garabini is an assistant professor of automatic control at the University of Pisa. He completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering and Ph.D. in robotics, automation, and bioengineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Pisa, where he was also a research fellow at the Research Centre “E. Piaggio”. His main research interests include the design, planning, and control of soft and adaptive robots, from single joints to end-effectors (hands, grippers, feet) to complex systems.
