Gregor Geršak received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Ljubljana (UL), Slovenia, in 2003. He is a Professor at UL where he lectures on measurements, measuring methods and instrumentation. Previously, he was a visiting scholar at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Braunschweig, and University of California, Berkeley. His main research areas are psychophysiology used in human–computer interaction, affective computing, education and cognitive science. He utilizes his expertise in metrology and calibration, metrology of biomedical sensors and instrumentation, wearables, signal processing, medical thermography and virtual reality.
