Alexandra Jiricka-Pürrer is an environmental planner. During her PhD and habilitation she specialized on climate change adaptation and mitigation, in an interdisciplinary perspective. Her research activities have involved a number of transdisciplinary studies in the field of spatial planning including actors from various sectors. She is a senior scientist at the University of Natural Research and Life Sciences since 2008 and has been the principal investigator for a large number of projects.
