Pedro Pereira is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at NOVA School of Science and Technology (NOVA FCT). He holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is an IEEE member. His research focuses on power and energy systems, renewable energy communities, energy storage, power electronics, and the resilience of electrical grids. He has been involved in several European and national research projects (Horizon Europe, Interreg, COST) and maintains an active publication record in energy, power systems, and interdisciplinary applications.
