Dr. Moroianu Lavinia- Alexandra is a senior psychiatrist and Associate Professor at university Dunarea de Jos, Galati, Romania. She is dedicated to research within the mental health field. Her work specifically explores the interplay of interconnected disciplines, with a particular focus on depression, anxiety, and the critical issue of stigmatisation. She also investigates the neurobiological aspects of these conditions, including the role of serotonin, vitamin D and other contribuiting biological factors. She is a member of the Romanian Association of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and she is ellected member of the Galați College of Physicians and member of the General Assembly of the Romanian College of Physicians. She has authored more than 50 papers in the areas of psychiatry and interconnected disciplines and she has been national and international Reviewer for more than 10 national and international journals.
