Gloria Otieno holds a PhD in development economics and international development. She is a scientist at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT based in Uganda, with over 18 years of experience in policy research and analysis. Her research interests include seed systems, access and benefit sharing, farmers' rights, and biodiversity conservation, addressing the multiple challenges of food security, climate change, and livelihoods.
