LFM signals are widely applied in radar, communication, sonar and many other fields. LFM signals received by these systems contain a lot of noise and outliers. In order to suppress the interference of strong impulse noise on target signals and realize the accurate estimation of LFM signal parameters, the impulse noise of echo signals need to be filtered. In this paper, to solve the problem of poor performance of LFM signal parameter estimation based on fractional Fourier transform in impulse noise, alpha stable distribution is used to establish the mathematical model of impulse noise. The proposed fastest tracking differentiator with an adaptive tracking factor is used to suppress the strong impulse noise, and fractional Fourier transform is used to estimate the parameter of the LFM signals. The experimental results show that the proposed fastest tracking differentiator with an adaptive tracking factor has a good filtering performance. It can effectively filter the impulse noise in the echo signal and allows the FrFT method to accurate estimate the parameters of the LFM signals in strong impulse noise.
Diagnosing agricultural machinery faults is critical to agricultural automation, and identifying vibration signals from faulty bearings is important for agricultural machinery fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance. In recent years, data–driven methods based on deep learning have received much attention. Considering the roughness of the attention receptive fields in Vision Transformer and Swin Transformer, this paper proposes a Shift–Deformable Transformer (S–DT) network model with multi–attention fusion to achieve accurate diagnosis of composite faults. In this method, the vibration signal is first transformed into a time–frequency graph representation through continuous wavelet transform (CWT); secondly, dilated convolutional residual blocks and efficient attention for cross–spatial learning are used for low–level local feature enhancement. Then, the shift window and deformable attention are fused into S–D Attention, which has a more focused receptive field to learn global features accurately. Finally, the diagnosis result is obtained through the classifier. Experiments were conducted on self–collected datasets and public datasets. The results show that the proposed S–DT network performs excellently in all cases. With a slight decrease in the number of parameters, the validation accuracy improves by more than 2%, and the training network has a fast convergence period. This provides an effective solution for monitoring the efficient and stable operation of agricultural automation machinery and equipment.
(1) Background: with the development of intelligent transportation, effectively collecting and identifying the working state of vehicles is conducive to the analysis and processing of vehicle information by internet of vehicles, so as to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. Aiming at the problem of low identification accuracy of the mechanical vibration fault signal, a signal identification method based on time-frequency detection is introduced; (2) Methods: this paper constructs a parameter model of the synchroextracting S transform on the basis of the poor time-frequency concentration of the original S transform; (3) Results: in the case of SNR = −5~+30 dB, compared with other transformations, the Rényi entropy value of SEST is the smallest, and the Rényi entropy value is 0.5246 when SNR = +22 dB; (4) Conclusions: through simulation comparison and analysis, the excellent time-frequency concentration and anti-noise characteristics of the SEST are highlighted, and the rotor vibration fault signals such as rotor misalignment, unbalance and bearing wear are identified by SEST.
The Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) LiDAR point cloud in autonomous vehicles has a large deflection range, which results in slow registration speed and poor applicability. To maximize speed, an improved Normal Distribution Transform (NDT) method that integrates point cloud density features has been proposed. First, the point cloud is reduced using a modified voxel filter and a pass-through filter. Next, the Intrinsic Shape Signature (ISS) algorithm is utilized to analyze the point cloud features and extract key points; the Four-Point Congruent Set (4PCS) algorithm is then employed to calculate the initial pose under the constraints of the key point set to complete the coarse registration. Finally, the self-adaptive segmentation model is constructed by using a K-D tree to obtain the density features of key points, and the NDT algorithm is combined with this model to form an SSM-NDT algorithm, which is used for fine registration. Each algorithm was compared on the autonomous vehicle dataset PandaSet and actual collected datasets. The results show that the novel method increases the speed by at least 60% and takes into account good registration accuracy and strong anti-interference.
Three-dimensional matching is widely used in 3D vision tasks, such as 3D reconstruction, target recognition, and 3D model retrieval. The description of local features is the fundamental task of 3D matching; however, the descriptors only encode the surrounding surfaces of keypoints, and thus they cannot distinguish between similar local surfaces of objects. Therefore, we propose a novel local feature descriptor called deviation angle statistics of keypoints from local points and adjacent keypoints (DASKL). To encode a local surface fully, we first calculate a multiscale local reference axis (LRA); second, a local consistent strategy is used to redirect the normal direction, and the Poisson-disk sampling strategy is used to eliminate the redundancy in the data. Finally, the local surface is subdivided by two kinds of spatial features, and the histogram of the deviation angle between the LRA and the normal point in each subdivision space is generated. For the coding between keypoints, we calculate the LRA deviation angle between the nearest three keypoints and the adjacent keypoint. The performance of our DASKL descriptor is evaluated on several datasets (i.e., B3R, UWAOR, and LIDAR) with respect to Gaussian noise, varying mesh resolutions, clutter, and occlusion. The results show that our DASKL descriptor has achieved excellent performance in terms of description, robustness, and efficiency. Moreover, we further evaluate the generalization ability of the DASKL descriptor in a LIDAR real-scene dataset.
