Dr. Ole Ravn received his master's and PhD degrees in 1984 and 1987, respectively, at the Technical University of Denmark. He is a professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. His research focuses on adaptive systems and neural networks for control, computer-aided control engineering, vision-based automation and control, control and design of robots and autonomous systems, sensor fusion and nonlinear state estimation, and sensor-based real-time robot control.
