Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). Her main research interests are in the prevention of atherosclerosis through the use of fundamental nutritional strategies, the antioxidant effect of squalene and other natural compounds on intestinal pathologies such as inflammation and cancer, and the effect of chemotherapeutic agents based on gold metal complexes on various cellular models of cancer such as colon and breast cancer.
