Dr. Ayesha Shaik obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She pursued her Master’s in VLSI Sytem Design at JNTU Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. She was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kancheepuram, Chennai, India in the year 2018. She has 8 months of post-doctoral experience at the RISE Lab, Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Madras, Chennai. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)—Chennai campus. She has around 8 years of teaching experience. She has around 20 publications indexed across reputed research databases such as SCI, SCOPUS, and WoS. She is also an active reviewer for reputed international SCI journals under Elsevier, IEEE, and Springer. Her areas of interest include Deep Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Video Analytics, Image and Video Processing, Digital Image Security, and Artificial Intelligence. Her current research areas include Smart Agriculture, Healthcare Intelligence, and Hardware Implementation of Digital Image Processing Algorithms.
