In this manuscript, we present a novel concept known as the fuzzy Sehgal contraction, specifically designed for self-mappings defined in the context of a fuzzy metric space. Our primary objective is to explore the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for self-mappings in fuzzy metric space. To support our conclusions, we present a detailed illustrative case that demonstrates the superiority of the convergence obtained with our suggested method to those currently recorded in the literature. Moreover, we provide graphical depictions of the convergence behavior, which makes our study more understandable and transparent. Additionally, we extend the application of our results to address the existence and uniqueness of solutions for Volterra integral equations.
In this manuscript, we introduce the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy controlled metric-like spaces via continuous t-norms and continuous t-conorms. This new metric space is an extension to intuitionistic fuzzy controlled metric-like spaces, controlled metric-like spaces and controlled fuzzy metric spaces, and intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. We prove some fixed-point theorems and we present non-trivial examples to illustrate our results. We used different techniques based on the properties of the considered spaces notably the symmetry of the metric. Moreover, we present an application to non-linear fractional differential equations.
The purpose of this article is to discuss some new aspects of the vector-valued metric space. The idea of an arbitrary binary relation along with the well-known F contraction is used to demonstrate the existence of fixed points in the context of a complete vector-valued metric space for both single- and multi-valued mappings. Utilizing the idea of binary relation, and with the help of F contraction, this work extends and complements some of the very recently established Perov-type fixed-point results in the literature. Furthermore, this work includes examples to justify the validity of the given results. During the discussion, it was found that some of the renowned metrical results proven by several authors using different binary relations, such as partial order, pre-order, transitive relation, tolerance, strict order and symmetric closure, can be weakened by using an arbitrary binary relation.
In this article, we establish the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy double-controlled metric-like spaces by “assuming that the self-distance may not be zero”; if the value of the metric is zero, then it has to be “a self-distance”. We derive numerous fixed-point results for contraction mappings. In addition, we provide several non-trivial examples with their graphical views and an application of integral equations to show the validity of the proposed results.
