Dr. Natrah specializes in the field of Aquatic Microbial Ecology, particularly in the development of innovative and sustainable microbial management strategies through understanding of the host–microbe interaction for enhanced microbial stability. Her current research focus includes quorum sensing sociomicrobiology, with regard to its pathogenic and probiotic role, particularly in bacteria, algae and other hosts in aquaculture ecosystem.
