Prof. Albert Moyano graduated in Chemistry at the University of Barcelona (1978), where he also obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Félix Serratosa, focusing on dealing with
the synthesis of polycyclopentanoid systems (polyquinanes). After a
postdoctoral stage at the “Joseph Fourier” University in Grenoble (1985–1986)
in the laboratory of Professor Andrew E. Greene, he worked on asymmetric
cycloadditions. After that, he came back to the University of Barcelona, where
he has been a Full Professor of Organic Chemistry since 2003. His main research
interests include synthesis catalysts, organic synthesis, synthetic organic
chemistry, organic chemistry synthesis, synthetic chemistry, organometallics,
chemical synthesis, catalysis, and organic chemistry.
