Dr. Ana Piquer is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Construction at Universitat Jaume I (UJI). She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from UJI and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Dr. Piquer is also the Coordinator of the CECOM Research Group—Structural Calculation and Computational Mechanics Group at UJI. She has published over 50 papers in various journals and conferences. Her research interests include the behavior of steel–concrete composite structures at both ambient and high temperatures, as well as the development of more sustainable concretes utilizing waste from the ceramic and steel industries.
