David Meyerholz is a Professor of Pathology and veterinary pathologist experienced in comparative pathology and translational medicine. He is a Member of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science and the Director of the Division of Comparative Pathology. He earned his MS in Veterinary Microbiology from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, and his Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology from Iowa State University. His lab studies lung pathophysiology including genetic (e.g., cystic fibrosis) and infectious diseases (e.g., SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and SARS-CoV2).
