Mr. Panytsidis Konstantinos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Science and Technology, University of Western Macedonia, in "Development, Planning and Programming of Applications in Decision Making". Has 15 years of professional experience as an IT by participating in research & development programs, funded by the European Union and National Resources, with a variety of responsibilities mainly focused on the development of integrated environmental technology, IT solutions and the provision of specialized consulting services related to environmental issues. Worked as a Lecturer at the Democritus University and at the University of Western Macedonia in the field of Informatics. He has published more than 10 scientific papers in international journals and conferences. His main research interests include, desicion support systems, data science, green technologies, virtual reality, geoinformatics, natural resource management, sustainable development, databases, geographic information systems, knowledge mining, information systems and application development.
