Vivek K. Patel is an Associate Professor at the School of Technology, Pandit Deendayal Energy University. He is also a Life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), an Associate member of the Institute of Engineers, a Member of SAE, India, and a Member of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from S.V. National Institute of Technology in 2013. His areas of interest are focused on thermal system design, soft computing techniques for thermal system design and optimization, non-conventional refrigeration, advanced refrigeration and air-conditioning, and cryogenics.
