Elena Stoleru (former Paslaru) has a PhD in Chemistry since 2014. She is holding a permanent position as Scientific Researcher at “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Polymers, Romania. For over 10 years her research has been focused on surface modification/functionalization of polymers, responsive and biocompatible surfaces, active food packaging, stabilization of active principles in/onto polymeric materials and biodegradability of bioplastics. She is the main author/co-author of over 35 ISI articles and 7 book chapters published in international publishing houses, author of 1 book and of 4 granted patents.
