Senior Researcher, Laboratory of Petroleum Microbiology, Federal State Institution, Federal Research Centre Fundamentals of Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, since 2005. Field of expertise: survival of microorganisms, persistence, formation of resting forms, autoregulatory factors of microorganisms, biocrystallization of the bacterial nucleoid, development of biotechnological methods for processing various types of waste, soil microbiology, the biocidal properties of various substances, and materials and polymer coatings. Published more than 100 papers in microbiological, biotechnological, and chemical journals, coauthored 7 patents, co-directed 3 Ph.D. dissertations. Participated in research grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Russian Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RF.
