Kuei-Hu Chang received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the R.O.C. Military Academy in 1996, his Master’s degree in Resources Management from the National Defense Management College in 2000, and his PhD degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from National Chiao-Tung University in 2008. He is now a Professor of the Management Sciences department in the R.O.C. Military Academy. His research is mainly in the fields of fuzzy logic, linguistic algorithms, natural language processing, military domain knowledge discovery, soft computing, risk assessment, supply chain and reliability. He has published more than 100 papers. In 2020, Reliability Engineering and System Safety 199 (2020) 106885 pointed out that Professor Chang’s publications in the field of FMEA from 1998 to 2018 are ranked second in the world in terms of number, sixth in total citations, and eighth in average citations. He was ranked in the world's top 2% of scientists for annual scientific influence and lifetime scientific influence on the Stanford List for the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
