Biography
Head of Laser Spectroscopy Group; Professor at Physics Faculty, Bucharest University. Scientific domains: Tunable lasers, laser spectroscopy and microspectroscopy. Laser spectroscopy and optics of biomolecular systems. New methods to fight resistance to treatment acquired by bacteria and tumors; nanophysics and nanomedicine. Lasers and optics applications in pollution control. Chaos in laser systems. Physics of micro- and nanodroplets. Spectroscopy of droplets. Optofluidics. More than 400 publications, including books and books chapters.
