Peter M. Piermarini received a B.S. in Biology from James
Madison University and a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Florida. He
was a postdoctoral researcher at the Yale University School of Medicine and Cornell
College of Veterinary Medicine before joining the Department of Entomology at The Ohio State University as a faculty member. He is currently a Professor and Associate Chair of Entomology. His research interests focus on Mosquito
toxicology, Insecticide and repellent discovery, and Molecular physiology.
