Thanassis Mpimis received his Diploma degree in Surveying Engineering at the Survey and Rural Engineering School of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is a Post-Doctoral Researcher while his PhD is in geodesy – navigation; he also holds an MSc in Techno-economics and a BSc degree in Industrial Management and Technology from the University of Piraeus. He is the author of papers in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include the interconnection between geodetic equipment and heterogeneous sensors, and navigation using satellite receivers and inertial measurement units.
