Mercè Brunet is the Head of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Unit at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. She also serves as a Professor and Coordinator of Masters in Translational Medicine at the University of Barcelona. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona in 1993. She was the Director of Education at the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology. Her research keywords include therapeutic treatment personalization, measurement of non-invasive biomarkers, immunosuppressive drugs, pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenetics, and pharmacodynamics.
