Sharon Pattison currently works as an Associate Professor and a Medical Oncologist at the Department of Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine, University of Otago. She studied at the University of Otago and the University of Melbourne and was appointed as a Senior Lecturer, Department of Medicine, and also as a Medical Oncologist at Southern District Health Board in 2016. Her research interests include gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and neuroendocrine tumors, with a particular interest in understanding the variability that is seen at a clinical, histological, and genomic level.
