Dr. Diana M. Vranceanu is a Lecturer at National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, Romania, with a BsC. in the field of Applied Science, Medical Engineering (Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, University Politehnica of Bucharest) and MsC in Biomaterials (Department of Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, University Politehnica of Bucharest). She got her PhD in 2012 in Materials Engineering, and since than she has been involved in several international and national projects, as both team member and leader and is a reviewer for International Journals. Her research activities consists in surface modification and functionalization by electrochemical techniques, with focus on electrochemical assisted deposition of hydroxyapatite undoped and doped with biocompatible elements and also in vitro evaluation of biomaterials behaviour in terms of degradation and bioactivity in acellular media.
