Dr. Michael Makris is currently the Director of Allergy at the Second Department of Dermatology and Venereology of Athens University Medical School. He received PhD from the University of Athens in 2009 and worked as a Senior Consultant in Allergology since then. He won the 1st prize in Research study at the 10th National Congress of Allergology and Clinical Immunology in 2014, and the 1st prize in Poster Presentation at the 1st and 2nd State-of-the-Art Congress in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Dr. Michael Makris is also a Member of the Committee of the Greek Ministry of Health for training and qualification in Allergology.
