Dr. Carlos Escobar is a Doctor at the Hospital La Paz Institute for Health Research. He is an M.D. graduate of the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and obtained a Ph.D. at the Universidad de Alcalá. He is also a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy Working Group of the ESC. He has participated in several clinical trials and investigation projects in the fields of hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, acute coronary syndrome, and cardiometabolic disease. He has over 400 published papers in peer review journals.
