Prof. Dr. Jianjun Yu received a B.Sc. from Xiangtan University in 1990. He received an M.S. in Optics and a Ph.D. in Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Technology from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He was a researcher at Bell Labs and a senior researcher at NEC’s American Research Center. Currently, he is a Full Professor at the School of Information Science and Technology, Fudan University. He is an IEEE Fellow and OSA Fellow. His research interests include optical fiber communications, millimeter communications, and Thz communications.
