In recent years, fishery has developed rapidly. For the vital interests of the majority of fishermen, this paper makes full use of Internet of Things and air–water amphibious UAV technology to provide an integrated system that can meet the requirements of fishery water quality monitoring and prediction evaluation. To monitor target water quality in real time, the water quality monitoring of the system is mainly completed by a six-rotor floating UAV that carries water quality sensors. The GPRS module is then used to realize remote data transmission. The prediction of water quality transmission data is mainly realized by the algorithm of time series comprehensive analysis. The evaluation rules are determined according to the water quality evaluation standards to evaluate the predicted water quality data. Finally, the feasibility of the system is proved through experiments. The results show that the system can effectively evaluate fishery water quality under different weather conditions. The prediction accuracy of the pH, dissolved oxygen content, and ammonia nitrogen content of fishery water quality can reach 99%, 98%, and 99% on sunny days, and reach 92%, 98%, and 91% on rainy days.

Human locomotion is a coordinated motion between the upper and lower limbs, which should be considered in terms of both the user’s normal walking state and abnormal walking state for a walking-aid robot system. Therefore, a novel coordinated motion fusion-based walking-aid robot system was proposed. To develop the accurate human motion intention (HMI) of such robots when the user is in normal walking state, force-sensing resistor (FSR) sensors and a laser range finder (LRF) are used to detect the two HMIs expressed by the user’s upper and lower limbs. Then, a fuzzy logic control (FLC)-Kalman filter (LF)-based coordinated motion fusion algorithm is proposed to synthesize these two segmental HMIs to obtain an accurate HMI. A support vector machine (SVM)-based fall detection algorithm is used to detect whether the user is going to fall and to distinguish the user’s falling mode when he/she is in an abnormal walking state. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

The closed kinematic structure of Gough–Stewart platforms causes the kinematic control problem, particularly forward kinematics. In the traditional hybrid algorithm (backpropagation neural network and Newton–Raphson), it is difficult for the neural network part to train different datasets, causing training errors. Moreover, the Newton–Raphson method is unable to operate on a singular Jacobian matrix. In this study, in order to solve the forward kinematics problem of Gough–Stewart platforms, a new hybrid algorithm is proposed based on the combination of an artificial bee colony (ABC)–optimized BP neural network (ABC–BPNN) and a numerical algorithm. ABC greatly improves the prediction ability of neural networks and can provide a superb initial value to numerical algorithms. In the design of numerical algorithms, a modification of Newton’s method (QMn-M) is introduced to solve the problem that the traditional algorithm model cannot be solved when it is trapped in singular matrix. Results show that the maximal improvement in ABC–BPNN error optimization was 46.3%, while the RMSE index decreased by 42.1%. Experiments showed the feasibility of QMn-M in solving singular matrix data, while the percentage improvement in performance for the average number of iterations and required time was 14.4% and 13.9%, respectively.

Laser vision sensors for weld seam extraction face critical challenges due to arc light and spatter interference in welding environments. This paper presents a real-time weld seam extraction method. The proposed framework enhances robustness through the sequential processing of historical frame data. First, an initial noise-free laser stripe image of the weld seam is acquired prior to arc ignition, from which the laser stripe region and slope characteristics are extracted. Subsequently, during welding, a dynamic region of interest (ROI) is generated for the current frame based on the preceding frame, effectively suppressing spatter and arc interference. Within the ROI, adaptive Otsu thresholding segmentation and morphological filtering are applied to isolate the laser stripe. An optimized RANSAC algorithm, incorporating slope constraints derived from historical frames, is then employed to achieve robust laser stripe fitting. The geometric center coordinates of the weld seam are derived through the rigorous analysis of the optimized laser stripe profile. Experimental results from various types of weld seam extraction validated the accuracy and real-time performance of the proposed method.

To accurately estimate the 6D pose of objects, most methods employ a two-stage algorithm. While such two-stage algorithms achieve high accuracy, they are often slow. Additionally, many approaches utilize encoding–decoding to obtain the 6D pose, with many employing bilinear sampling for decoding. However, bilinear sampling tends to sacrifice the accuracy of precise features. In our research, we propose a novel solution that utilizes implicit representation as a bridge between discrete feature maps and continuous feature maps. We represent the feature map as a coordinate field, where each coordinate pair corresponds to a feature value. These feature values are then used to estimate feature maps of arbitrary scales, replacing upsampling for decoding. We apply the proposed implicit module to a bidirectional fusion feature pyramid network. Based on this implicit module, we propose three network branches: a class estimation branch, a bounding box estimation branch, and the final pose estimation branch. For this pose estimation branch, we propose a miniature dual-stream network, which estimates object surface features and complements the relationship between 2D and 3D. We represent the rotation component using the SVD (Singular Value Decomposition) representation method, resulting in a more accurate object pose. We achieved satisfactory experimental results on the widely used 6D pose estimation benchmark dataset Linemod. This innovative approach provides a more convenient solution for 6D object pose estimation.
