Prof. Nouf M. Alrasheed is a professor of cell physiology and pharmacology. Prof. Alrasheed was awarded a PhD from the University of Leicester, Department of Cell Physiology and Pharmacology, Leicester, UK. Prof. Alrasheed is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University. Prof. Alrasheed’s professional interests primarily focus on cell signaling, particularly G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)-mediated intracellular calcium signaling and its impact on neurotransmitter release. Currently, Prof. Alrasheed is interested in molecular targets that can be future promising targets for the development of drugs that may play protective and preventive roles against the development of diabetic complications.
