This study presents experimental results on Photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) solar systems, the commercial photovoltaic (PV) panels used as solar absorbers in PVT collectors, which are amorphous and multi-crystalline silicon. Testing was done with outdoor experiments in the climate of Bangkok corresponding to energy consumption behavior of medium size Thai families. The experimental results show that the thermal recovery of amorphous silicon PVT collector is almost the same as that of multi-crystalline silicon PVT collectors while electricity generation of multi crystalline silicon PVT is 1.2 times as much as that of amorphous silicon PVT. The maximum of heat gain from the PVT systems were obtained in March in summer. It was found that PVT collectors of unit area annually produced 1.1 × 103 kWh/m2 .year of heat and 55–83 kWh/m2.year of electricity, respectively. The results show that annual average solar factor of hot water supply is 0.45 for unit collector area. Economical evaluation based on energy costs in Thailand was conducted, which estimated the payback time would be 7 and 14 years for a-Si PVT and mc-Si PV, respectively.

Integrating remote-controlled (RC) helicopters and drones equipped with variable-rate sprayer systems represents a significant advancement in agricultural practices, particularly for the precise management of crop diseases. This study utilizes low-altitude remote sensing platforms to monitor crop growth and disease infestation, proposing advanced technology for managing and monitoring disease outbreaks in cassava fields. The performance of these systems was evaluated using statistical analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications for mapping, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between vegetation indices (NDVI and GNDVI) and the growth stages of cassava. The results indicated that NDVI values obtained from both the RC helicopter and drone systems decreased with increasing altitude. The RC helicopter system exhibited NDVI values ranging from 0.709 to 0.352, while the drone system showed values from 0.726 to 0.361. Based on the relationship between NDVI and GNDVI of cassava plants at different growth stages, the study recommends a variable-rate spray system that utilizes standard instruments to measure chlorophyll levels. Furthermore, the study found that the RC helicopter system effectively measured chlorophyll levels, while the drone system demonstrated superior overall quality. Both systems showed strong correlations between NDVI/GNDVI values and cassava health, which has significant implications for disease management. The image processing algorithms and calibration methods used were deemed acceptable, with drones equipped with variable-rate sprayer systems outperforming RC helicopters in overall quality. These findings support the adoption of advanced remote sensing and spraying technologies in precision agriculture, particularly to enhance the management of cassava crops.

The integration of a real-time image processing system using multiple webcams with a variable rate spraying system mounted on the back of an unmanned tractor presents an effective solution to the labor shortage in agriculture. This research aims to design and fabricate a low-cost, variable-rate, remote-controlled sprayer specifically for use in sugarcane fields. The primary method involves the modification of a 15-horsepower tractor, which will be equipped with a remote-control system to manage both the driving and steering functions. A foldable remote-controlled spraying arm is installed at the rear of the unmanned tractor. The system operates by using a webcam mounted on the spraying arm to capture high-angle images above the sugarcane canopy. These images are recorded and processed, and the data is relayed to the spraying control system. As a result, chemicals can be sprayed on the sugarcane accurately and efficiently based on the insights gained from image processing. Tests were conducted at various nozzle heights of 0.25 m, 0.5 m, and 0.75 m. The average system efficiency was found to be 85.30% at a pressure of 1 bar, with a chemical spraying rate of 36 L per hour and a working capacity of 0.975 hectares per hour. The energy consumption recorded was 0.161 kWh, while fuel consumption was measured at 6.807 L per hour. In conclusion, the development of the remote-controlled variable rate sprayer mounted on an unmanned tractor enables immediate and precise chemical application through remote control. This results in high-precision spraying and uniform distribution, ultimately leading to cost savings, particularly by allowing for adjustments in nozzle height from a minimum of 0.25 m to a maximum of 0.75 m from the target.

An article presents policies for Thailand's workforce development under the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution. It will be helpful for executives to design policies to improve the country's workforce. Within context, the changes from the impact of the Industrial Revolution were due to the influence of Disruptive Technology. The paper explores directions, trends, impacts, and policies for managing labor issues in the Disruptive Technologies era. Studying the opinions of 26 CEOs and executives of businesses in Thailand(2019-2020) used or affected by the Industrial Revolution, obstacles, feedback, focusing on issues, concepts about Disruptive Technologies, and vocational education concepts. They are using qualitative research methodology and procedures to support policy. The study results are the impact of Industrial Revolution on Thai workers and technological TVET Institution to develop Thai people during Industrial Revolution, educational management to develop Thai people in the Thailand 4.0 Therefore focuses on increasing labor skills and educating to create new skill / Upskill /Reskill for workers under reality. The policy document also outlines recommendations from the public and private executives. The CEOs have advised on the issue of developing the skills and performance of the workforce in the future. The changes in the skills of older workers and summary provide policy recommendations to educational institutions and governments.
