Dr. Mohamed Elsayed Mahmoud Essa graduated from the Electric Power and Machines Department of the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (I.A.E.T) in 2010. He was awarded M.Sc and Ph.D degrees by the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He has been an assistant professor at I.A. E.T since 2018. Previously, he was was an Instructor (2010- 2014) and Teaching Assistant (2014- 2018) at I.A.E.T. His main interest is the study of control systems and their applications in industry and how to connect the research and academic fields. He has published research in international journals and conferences in the fields of hydraulic servo systems, renewable energy, the Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, machine learning, robotics, building management systems, solar tracker systems, aircraft control, and electric vehicles.
