Sibylle Kranz, RD is an Associate Professor in Kinesiology at the School of Education and Human Development and Adjunct, Public Health Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Virginia. With a doctorate in Nutrition from the UNC Chapel Hill (2002) followed by Assistant Professor, Pennsylvania State University; Associate Professor, East Carolina University and Purdue University; and Senior Lecturer; University of Bristol (UK), prior to joining UVA in 2016. She focuses on child nutrition, especially changing dietary intake to improve health and learning outcomes. Her memberships include The Obesity Society (Fellow), American Society for Nutrition, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and European Childhood Obesity Group.
