prof. RNDr. Peter Andras. CSc. (https://publons.com/researcher/1789246/peter-andras/; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5366-4041 is a researcher and teacher with a significant history of international cooperation. He has been studying environmental issues for many years. His specializations are in ore mineralogy and geochemistry, and he has passed on his experience as part of his many years of pedagogical work at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. He is the author of 11 scientific monographs, 59 publications registered in WOS and another approximately 200 scientific papers in domestic and foreign periodicals and anthologies. He records 503 citations for his scientific works (of which 219 are registered in WOS and SCOPUS) with H-index 10. He is a member of several scientific councils (at Matej Bel University and at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Matej Bel University, at Mining and Geological Faculty of VŠB-Technical University in Ostrava, Czech Republic) and a member of several domestic and foreign professional councils of doctoral studies, a member of the Slovak Academy of Sciences Commission for the Environment, guarantor Mgr. and holds a doctoral degree in Environmental Management from Matej Bel University. He is a member of seven editorial boards (of which three are foreign, registered in WOS and SCOPUS databases). He has many years of cooperation with numerous foreign partners from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Ukraine, Portugal, Italy, Egypt. etc.
