The research of Dr. Huang’s laboratory focuses on the studies of the lipid/cholesterol/steroid metabolic and signaling mechanisms as well as the targeting of lethal prostate cancer progression, metastasis, and drug resistance. Particular emphasis includes master transcription factors regulating lipogenesis and cholesterogenesis, mitochondrial functions, stemness, signaling transduction, androgen receptor activation, and therapeutic intervention.
