I am a professor, researcher, and endodontist at the University of Costa Rica, where I direct the Graduate Program in Dentistry and lead the Master’s Program in Endodontics. My academic career bridges clinical endodontics, biomaterials, pharmacology, pain management, and nanotechnology, with a strong interest in translating scientific evidence into better clinical care. I am committed to research, postgraduate education, and international collaboration, while remaining actively engaged in clinical endodontic practice. My professional mission is to advance evidence-based dentistry by connecting science, education, and clinical practice, while inspiring the next generation of clinicians and researchers.
