Elpis Hatziagorou is an Associate Professor in Paediatrics and Respiratory Pediatrics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece. She is a clinical researcher, and her main areas of research interest lie in respiratory pediatrics, cystic fibrosis (CF), non-CF bronchiectasis, multiple breath washout, exercise testing, CF epidemiology (CF registry), and interventional bronchoscopy. In the past decade, her research interests focused on outcome parameters (lung clearance index, quality of life, exercise testing indices, lung function testing of infants and children, pediatric home care, diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopy, and interstitial lung disease), clinical trials and diagnostic/epidemiologic issues in CF. Dr. Hatziagorou has also participated in several international and European collaborations.
