Doctor in Chemical Sciences (PhD) at the University of Pavia, Italy (2006). Currently, Professor of Chemistry of Natural Products at the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (Ecuador). My research deals with purification and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites, phytochemical analysis, biological activities, essential oil analysis and synthesis of natural product derivatives.
