Anke Kraft is a virologist and immunologist with more than 20 years of experience in viral immunology in mice and humans. Her work focuses on the study of immune responses in chronically virus-infected individuals, with an emphasis on T cell responses including virus-specific αβ-T cells, γδ-T cells and MAIT cells. These immune cells are studied in patients chronically infected with hepatitis virus with and without antiviral treatment and in a chronic viral mouse models.
