Prof. Dr. Boqun Liu currently works as an Associate Professor and Doctor‘s supervisor at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Jilin University, China. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Engineering (Functional Food), a Master's degree in Food Science from Jilin University, and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Groningen. His research direction is nutrition and functional food, and his main research directions are the relationship between the structure and activity of amino acid peptides for rapid supplementation, protein deep processing and industrial applications, high-value development of functional factors and their mechanism of action, functional activity and absorption metabolism of food-derived bioactive peptides, and the effects of bioactive peptides on cell physical properties.
