Carla Bazzicalupi, Associate Professor - Department of Chemistry “Ugo Schiff” - University of Florence (Italy). Associate Professor (Inorganic Chemistry) at the same University since 2015.Main research interests: structural characterization by means of X-ray diffraction and molecular modelling techniques of supramolecular species.Synthetic receptors, mainly macrocyclic or open polyamines, for the coordination of environmentally and/or biologically relevant species; more recently compounds able to selective interact with non-B DNA, mainly G-quadruplex, structure based drug discovery.Member of the Italian Association of Crystallography (AIC) and of the Società Chimica ItalianaPUBLICATIONS: more than 200 publications in ISI journals, H-index 39 (WoS); 5433 citations (WoS).
