Raj Senani received his B.Sc. Engg. from HBTI, Kanpur, M.E. (Honors) from MNNIT, Allahabad and his Ph. D. from University of Allahabad - all in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Senani became a Professor at the Delhi Institute of Technology in 1990. He has served as Head and Dean of various Departments and Director of the Institute at NSIT, New Delhi a number of times since 1990 and lastly during 2008-2014. He served NSIT as Professor Emeritus during 2015 and currently holds the position of an Honorary Professor. His areas of research interest are Bopolar and CMOS Analog Circuits, Modern Filter Design, and Current-mode Circuits. Professor Senani has authored over 180 papers in peer-reviewed international journals with over 6800 citations and a h-index of 45. He has worked as Editorial reviewer for over 35 international journals, Associate Editor for Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing (USA) since 2003 and an Editor/Member of the Editorial board for five other International Journals. Professor Senani is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Life Fellow of IETE and an elected Fellow of National Academy of Sciences, India. Professor Senani was bestowed with the Second Laureate of the 25th Khwarizmi International Award for excellence and dedication in Research. In February, 2012. He was awarded Eminent Engineer of the Year Award for 2021 by the Institution of Engineers, India and a scroll of honour for his significant contributions for the application of practice of Engineering in India.
