Dr Gu Aixia is working on Brassica species and is mainly focused on polyploidy and the evolution of Brassica species. Her work encompasses the identification of novel traits for improving brassica crops and also identifying novel genetic recombinations in brassica species that can improve morphological, physiological, and biochemical attributes.
